Here is an overview of the G12 Vision. However, beyond these things, we firmly believe that the vision works in the context of discipleship. There are things better caught than taught. Before reading this, we encourage you to get in touch with us, be mentored, and let's change this nation for Jesus! 

 

How does the G12 Vision Work?

The application of the Vision’s principles allows specific results to be obtained. The Lord has led us to create a process that guarantees positive results to all who are willing to dedicate their lives to working with cells. This process is called, “The Ladder of Success.” There are four steps that will go in an ascending form that each new believer will climb in order to become a leader and also to become another qualified agent of multiplication to expand the Vision with the message of Christ.  Each step is  dependant on the one before.

The four steps are: Win, Consolidate, Disciple, and Send.

 

WIN

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-19).

Evangelism is the first step of the Ladder of Success.  It consists of winning souls to the best of a believer’s personal ability. It is when we take advantage of every opportunity to establish direct contact with the lives that are being won for Christ. Some will be won in massive numbers such as in congregational meetings through altar calls. Winning is what begins to guarantee success in the Vision.  If there is no evangelism, then there will not be people to meet in the cells. 

The Lord had the salvation of souls on his heart. Winning souls is an art that combines God’s Time, divine anointing, and sensibility to the Holy Spirit to move in the supernatural dimension. Lord Jesus said, that there is eternal life, but he emphasized in John 17:3 that, "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." 

The work of winning the lost is also a commandment that every believer in Christ must fulfill. It is the fulfillment of the great commission that He gave His disciples before He ascended to heaven.

 

Winning in the Cell

Cells are small groups of people that meet a minimum of once a week. They are motivated by the development of internal growth based on the Word of God. Each Cell has an agenda of small teachings that are simple and practical. This way each member and new convert will be edified every week.. When the early church started great growth the principle of cells was born. We find this in Acts where it says, “So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly” “You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house, declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus”  (Acts 6:7; 20:20,21).

When speaking of the cell we refer to one of the smallest microorganisms that exists in any form of matter.  In the case of church cells, the interesting thing is that although they begin small, they can multiply easily.  When Pastor Caesar Castellanos began the Vision he used the strategy to set the original pattern with eight people. It is important that the first cell makes the trail for the rest of the cells to follow because it will mark the behavior of the following cells.

 

Where are the 12 found?

The cell is an efficient way to form and select the team of twelve. A leader chooses from the people that gather weekly in a house or office. Members of the team should be selected as they become successful at bearing fruit and forming the cells that will support the ministry (Luke 6:12-17). 

Jesus won twelve men in which he reproduced His character and who would be His representatives to the entire world.  He transmitted the Vision to the twelve so that at the same time they would transmit it to their twelve. This way, exponential multiplication is achieved.

 

Here are the “Four Precious Opportunities"

The opportunity of an encounter (Jeremiah 29:13)

The opportunity of reconciliation (Luke 15: 18-20)

The opportunity of restoration (Romans 5:8; Luke 15:24)

The opportunity to bear fruit (John 15:8)

Lastly, they are invited to visit the cell and/or the church. This invitation should be done with confidence because there has been a month of prayer for the unbeliever.

 

CONSOLIDATION

Consolidation is The careful attention that we give the new believer in order to reproduce in him the character of Christ, so that his life will complete the purpose of God by bearing fruit that last.  It is an efficient process to form disciples. It is the step where the new believer reaffirms his personal decision to Jesus. This is achieved through the care he is given from the very moment of conversion.

When does the consolidation begin?

The Process of consolidation has begun when the new believer makes a decision to follow Christ. This is a process that was present in the early church. “Strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22).

Consolidation can also begin when the person makes his confession of faith at the altar in church. The contact information is collected. Then, a time of intercession is made on behalf of the new believer.  After receiving the contact information, the process of consolidation starts.  The leader must contact a new believer immediately! The new believer must feel important. The leader’s love and interest will show him how valuable his life is.

 

Pre-Encounter

A new believer should attend the Pre-Encounter class so that they are prepared for the three-day Encounter. The Pre-Encounter will help the person receive the full benefits of an Encounter.

What is an Encounter?

It is a three-day spiritual retreat where a new believer can first experience a confrontation with Jesus. The new believer comes face to face with God, with His Word, with himself and with his past. There he will obtain the grace of God to completely remove sin from his life. Also, he will be able to reflect daily and be able to move forward in faith to conquer a better future.

Objectives of an Encounter:

Be completely sure of their salvation

Experience genuine repentance

Break bondages that bind them to their past

Receive inner healing in their heart

Receive and experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit in their lives

Clearly understand the Vision

 

DISCIPLE

The Vision is so effective that every person that has had a personal encounter with Jesus goes through a process of character formation. What did Jesus do? Just as a potter takes clay to mold dust something beautiful and useful, Jesus molded the lives of twelve men. He formed the lives of twelve disciples through His teachings, His words, His life, and His example. The disciples came to know Him as “Teacher,” because He would instruct, direct, and shape their lives. Jesus said, “You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am” (John 13:13). God made man and breathed life into him. Jesus also molded the lives of His twelve, gathered them, breathed on them. Before ascending to heaven Jesus, “said to them, “receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:22).

The process of making disciples consists of preparing cell leaders in an efficient way so that they cultivate the ability of winning souls for Christ, continuing the process of the Vision with new believers until they become successful leaders. The process of making disciples takes place in the G12 Training School.

What is the G12 Training School? 

The G12 Training School is comprised of three different schools: School of Leaders, School of Ministry and School of Teachers. It is a program of simple teachings that asks practical questions, and motivates each student to become self-motivated.  The training is held in classrooms. These programs form disciples when they become new believers. 

 

Who can participate?

Those who have participated in an Encounter and have received the ministry of Post-encounter can attend. Although we work with different networks (Men, Women, Youth, Children), the doctrine is the same in each of them. The messages are simply tailored for each homogenous group. 

Here’s how it works:

 

Post Encounter: After the Encounter a new believer is strengthened in the Post-Encounter. The growth of the Schools of Leaders depends on taking care of the new believers at this level.

School of Leaders: One of the greater commitments of the Vision is "to make each believer into a leader"

School of Ministry: In this school, students learn deeper theological truths about working in the Vision.

School of Teachers: This is a vital pillar in the success of the Vision to prepare the future teachers of the schools.

 

 

Post Encounter

 

It is an open rotary course. This means that it is always receiving people who have participated in an encounter. The objective of Post Encounter is to help a new believer to become acclimated to his new life in Christ.  A new believer returning from an Encounter needs to learn how to fight against Satan’s attacks. They also need to know how to relate to the world, friends, confront problems and overcome temptation. A new person needs to learn how to flee the desires of the flesh, sin, the world, and Satan. Post Encounter is where they are introduced to how to have a new successful life in Christ.

 

School of Leaders

The School of Leaders is an important step in the Vision because its main goal is to make a disciple of each person. The material in this class is important for anyone who wants to “go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). The duration of School of Leaders is completed in three levels with ten classes for each level. Every class has two sections: Doctrine (one hour) and Seminar (one hour).

 

 

SEND

The goal of a disciple is to open his own cell. Within one year that cell should become a group of twelve leaders.  This is done throughout the months where the people are in School of Leaders.  The objective is that in a year, twelve people will be members of a G12. This is the anointing of multiplication.  When a church is simply adding the growth is slow. However, when it multiplies, through each cell member having twelve leaders, that has a truly powerful impact on a city.

It is a continuous cycle where all who receive Christ are trained to train others. We achieve turning believers into leaders when we involve them in a process of spiritual formation and  form the character of Christ in them. This way, they can be a faithful reflection of Jesus.  The Great Commission indicates that we should "go and make disciples... teaching them to guard all the things that Jesus has taught us" (Matthew 28:20). 

As each leader is formed, they are also prepared to be sent back into the culture to establish the Kingdom of God in one person, and one family at a time. They use what they have learned from their cell leaders and teachers to Win Souls and Make Disciples.  Then, they take their new converts through the same process that they have completed.  This way they are successful in their life in Christ, as they become an exponentially powerful disciple of Jesus Christ.
